My good friend - Daniel Gilland - got me fired up this past Tuesday during our weekly Together Tuesdays. He told me about a video where a pastor talks about how he threw a party for a prostitute at a hole-in-the-wall restaurant in Honolulu, Hawaii. I said to myself, now that's my kind of pastor! I got so fired up, I ran home and watched the video clip myself!
Here's my conclusion:
Not only do I wanna be apart of the church that throws parties for prostitutes, I wanna be the type of follower of Christ who lives a life on the fringes. Who lives a life totally entrusted to God, where throwing parties for prostitutes doesn't seem outrages but more like something Jesus would do anyway.
